Which black metal act is better? Explain your answers.

Ermmm.. neither? I'm not fan of Mayhem or Burzum. I just think they're are so many better BM bands out there... I know a lot of people like De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas but I think it's got really poor muscianship, and Burzum to me sound really boring...

I love both, but when it comes to artistic vision and uniqueness, I have to go with Burzum. I am very glad Varg won the fight.

Live in Leipzig does it for me, it's one of my favorite albums of all time.

I only like 2 Mayhem albums really (Live in Leipzig and Deathcrush).

they are both ok but burzum i think was in a different league. burzum by a mile. i must have the wrong version of the leipzig album because it sounds horrible. i don't understand how people can listen to it. i don't wanna get passed the horrible recording. maybe i am listening wrong?

Nah, your ears are serving you correct. Mayhem just sounds like shit period. Attilla Cheesehair sounds like he's making a bowel movement on his recordings with them.

Burzum for the win.

both bands are great. but my favourite is Burzum. it's so much different then any other BM bands. they sound much dark then Mayhem.
