Has anyone heard this band?
I recently bought their new album Hazardous Mutation after seeing their video for the song Unleash The Bastards.
It's very fucking good.

Aside from their obvious comedic persona, they are actually an incredibly tight thrash band with a very old-school Bay Area sound.
The album is crisply produced and is a real throwback.

Being a massive Bay Area thrash fan back in the heyday of the late 80s, this came as a surprise to me, and harks back to the days of Nuclear Assault, Vio-Lence, Exodus and Forbidden.

Hell the CD inlay even has a collage of photos in the middle like the old Assault, Anthrax and S.O.D albums had.

Cheesy lyrics and Tankard-like attitudes aside, this very young band from the US are well worth checking out.
And apparently their live show has to be seen to be believed.
I fully intend to catch them next time they play in the UK. Hopefully they will be added to the bill at Wacken this year too, which I'll also be attending.

Celtic Frost, Emperor and Atheist? Only a fool would miss this festival.

yep, ive heard of these guys. i haven't actually got any of their releases but i downloaded one of their EP's about a year ago. tis good stuff.
