Describe the worst and best date u ever had.

My best:
When I lived in Canada a guy who wrote for science magazines invited me to come with him to photograph metiorites. We lay in a field North of Toronto looking up at the night sky and now and again he would get up to adjust his camrea which was photographing with a long exposure.

The worst:
A guy I knew showed up at my house and asked me to go out for a drink with him. He got drunk while we were at the bar and peed in the street while walking back to my house with me. We were supposed to go someplace together a week later but he did not show up. He showed up a few days after the date we had agreed on at some ridiculous time of the night. By the time I dragged myself out of sleep to find out who was persistently ringing on my doorbell and refusing to be ignored he was gone. Next morning I discovered that he had written a note on the wall(No paper. He acutally wrote on the wall) of my house to say he had come to pick me up for the date we were supposed to have had a few days previously.

Could this thread also be used for asking people what kind of Valentine's day traditions they have in their countries? In Finland it's known as "friend's day" and we celebrate friendship rather than romantic love.

"Valentines Day" is a lame American invention. Why would anyone need a special day to ask someone out? Couldn't you just do that any other regular day of the year?

Oh, my bad. I guess all the stores wouldn't make any money from "Valentines Day" related merchandise and gifts then. It's just a cash cow.

we also have lame sweetest day which is lame. (and kinda lame...i hate hallmark holidays)
