I would think twice about Moonspell and Type O Negative being doom.
Edit: ah, I see you picked the names from the forum description. It's not your fault, too bad the gothic and doom sections are conjoined.

Have to agree with Alfader about Type O and Moonspell not being Doom at all although Type O do seem to get put in this catergory by a lot of the magazines and media that covers them I've nver been a fan to be honest although I do lke Moonspells latter day work compared to their early work but again it's not Doom more along the lines of Gothic metal I'd say.

Candlemass for me, but I like Moonspell, My Dying Bride and old-Katatonia very much.
