i must say that if there's one second of a man crying on the shining album i will never listen to them again. i hate that. that's the reason i hate make a change...kill yourself. i only like manly esoteric introspective suicidal metal, no man sobbing. ruins it

i do like shining but i just get the feeling like he's gonna let out some tears on this one. it's been building up

The new Shining album was supposed to be released on he 15th of June but has been put back til the 23rd I think. Still should have leaked by now though surely. I haven't heard anything about a new Velvet Cacoon release to be honest.

The new Shining album has been delayed again and the release date is still unsure. Apparently the delay is due to problems at the printers where the artwork and booklets are being worked on, something like that anyway.

Well the new Shining is finally here Kur, it's available on rockbox.

either this is not shining or else they decided to change their sound completely. it's not depressive black even remotely. sounds like a hard rock album

It is more direct with almost a death/doom feel to some parts, but I thought it worked. It's no Halmstad, but it's still enjoyable.
