I've got mixed feelings about the songs you have on your myspace. A couple songs start out with this almost Lamb of God sound, but better, and then they go into this stale run-of-the-mill death metal sound, and then back to the badass groovy death metal sound. Ditch the tired chugga chugga riffs and keep the grooviness.

As it is now, it's good solid death, but it could be so much more!

Thanks man. I know it could be better. And it will be now that we're working with a new drummer (who has triggers). Totally changed the feel of some parts. Changed a few beats here and there. Sounding a lot tougher. I definitely think the groove is the most important part of our sound. Tis what makes the songs memorable IMO.

Did you studied sound recording before???

You did an excellent job for A DEMO. With that same kick ass attitude you can edit and master your own Full Length Official album.

Thanks dude. Never studied recording or anything. All just self taught. Still kind of new to mixing real drums rather than a drum machine. Mixing real drums is a lot trickier. I've been recording/mixing for about 7 years or so.
The plan is to record a full length ourselves eventually. We have another song we recorded with this bunch called shotgun and a shovel, but it turned out kinda sloppy, so we didn't use it. And we just finished writing another but i still have to write lyrics. So that'll be 8 songs in total. Not sure if that would be good enough for a full length. Maybe write one more then record again. But next time we have to take a lot more time setting shit up. That's a huge part about recording. Make sure you set everything up so it sounds the best it can, or else you'll be fucked afterwards during mixing.
Already though, the songs are sounding a lot better with the new drummer. I can't wait to hear how the next recording will sound. Especially with triggers.
